May your thief soon get what's coming to him.

Thank you. I hope so too!

Jesus christ... so horrendous. The betrayal and losing those important memories and creations is going to be understandably very tough to deal with. Without dismissing your feelings though, I do wanna say this.

Things are things, and money is money. It comes and it goes in life, and you're young so you have time still to build things up, so never say never. Thankfully, you had the foresight to upload a tonne of your music to Newgrounds, so you have that at least. My grandma had a huge house fire when my dad was younger and they lost everything in the fire, maybe most sadly for me all the photographs of their memories from before I was born that I'll never get to see - young photos of my dad and such. But those memories still existed in their hearts and minds. If music is in your heart, I know you'll find a way to make it happen. I don't think you'll live your entire life without a laptop, and there's a lot that can be done with rudimentary equipment and software like Audacity.

The same goes for time; your schedule may be super busy or unpredictable now, but so much can change in a few months, let alone a few years. We'll all be here if and when you decide to be active again. I'm really sorry you had to go through this, but keep your head held high, yeah? <3

Thank you so much for your kind words! You're a absolutely right! I don't really care much about how expensive my things are, like you said, money is money, but it's more of a sentimental lose than anything. I understand that there are people out there right now dying and getting killed in the most horrendous ways possible, so I shouldn't complain.

My other roommate was an absolute trooper! He was supportive and tried to assist me as much as he could. He told that "At least you didn't fall down an elevator shaft or got hit by a car and didn't survive. Then, it would have been a much bigger loss.". Everytime I think about how stupid and trusting I was of that bastard, I remember this line and it makes slightly better.

If I know a supportive community, it would be you guys on Newgrounds! Maybe you're right! Maybe I can come back one day. One fate can till!

Thanks again for your kind words, it means a lot!

Don't trust anyone, especially your roommates. I'm sorry that happened to you.

And I know the cost of living is rough, so let me just clarify, if you have to share a living arrangement with someone, make sure to give away as few details about your personal life as possible. I know it's a bit too late for that now, but stay strong!

Yeah, I had to learn that the hard way. I thought it might be a little bit unhealthy to not trust everyone, but I guess a little bit of caution could have helped me... shame.

Hang in there, if i see that dude im gonna beat him up and get your laptop back.

Thank you, I appreciate your enthusiasm! I will force him to step on hot metal Legos, personally!

You should add a Tile tracker on it

Low-key thinking about adding those to everything moderately expensive I own now.

All we can wish for you is to recover from this and move on. Genuinely bummed out we wont see any more work from you. Maybe in a couple years you'll manage to make a comeback. Good luck and don't give up <3

Thank you, here's hoping!

man, that's sad to hear! may your thief not know peace until he returns all he has stolen

Amen!

I don't know who you are, but damn... What a betrayal. I hope that everything will be alright! :(

Thank you! I think I'm fine now. Not great, just fine.

Thieves deserve the lowest pit of Hell, I'm sorry you're going through all of this. I couldn't imagine what I'd do if I lost all of my work like that. Praying justice will prevail.

Thanks. I too hope that everyone does their part in the justice system.
